It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 International Scientific Acupuncture and Medicine Symposium (ISAMS 2026). This year’s symposium is held under the theme “Dynamic Aging Powered by Korean Medicine.”

As populations worldwide age at an unprecedented pace, promoting not only longevity but also vitality, resilience, and functional well-being has become one of the most important challenges in modern healthcare. The concept of dynamic aging emphasizes a proactive and integrative approach to maintaining health and adaptability throughout the lifespan.

ISAMS 2026 will explore how Korean medicine, together with contemporary biomedical science, can contribute to advancing healthy aging. Rather than focusing on individual therapeutic techniques, the symposium aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on the biological mechanisms of aging, disease pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical interventions, and emerging medical technologies that support dynamic aging.

Organized by the Medical Association of Pharmacopuncture Institute (MAPI) and the Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute (KPI), ISAMS has long served as an international platform where scientists, clinicians, and scholars exchange ideas and advance research across a broad spectrum of integrative medicine.

We are delighted to host ISAMS 2026 in Daejeon, Korea’s vibrant hub of science and research. We hope this symposium will inspire meaningful discussions, new collaborations, and innovative perspectives on the future of healthy aging.
